Sheikh’s Surprise Son by Leslie North
With nearly 150 reviews on Amazon, Sheikh’s Surprise Son is the first book in Leslie North’s Sheikh’s Wedding Series. Leslie North is a Hidden Gems reader favorite, and her love stories are always universally enjoyed.
“If there’s one thing Leslie North knows, it’s how to craft a strong, sexy sheikh,” writes Megan in her 5-star review. “Her heroes are deeply rooted in tradition and her heroines are strong, caring, and never fail to bring out the man behind the sheikh. I loved the progression of this book – from Sheikh Hadi finding out he’s got a son he didn’t know about to meeting the boy’s aunt, Willow (who has pretty much become his adoptive mother) and then falling in love! And Hadi’s daughter Lale is absolutely adorable! I’d classify this book as more of a slow-burn/forced proximity romance than anything else.”
“This romance made me laugh, cry, and everything in between,” says Avid New Reader in their 5-star review. “I loved Willow’s strength and determination as a teacher and a single mother. Her emotional journey goes in depth with how she needs to deal with her past to become a better mother and to let love into her life. Hadi appears to have it all, but his emotional journey also goes back to a past that he hadn’t considered. I love how this book weaves the serious into the romance. The chemistry between Hadi and Willow is sizzling hot. The secondary characters are excellent. I truly enjoyed the twists and turns in the story. This is a keeper.”
Royally Fake Fiancé by Lee Savino
With over 200 reviews on Amazon, Royally Fake Fiancé is a stand alone royal romance starring one arrogant Duke and the klutzy commoner who steals his heart. Witty banter, slow burn shenanigans, explosive private moments (literally, things explode) — the royal house of New Arcadia will never be the same again!
Cheryl raves in her 5-star review, “This is a revamped telling of Cinderella. I loved the banter between Frankie and Benedict. Plus an obnoxiously rude parrot. Frankie is reluctant to get involved with a snooty rich guy. And Benedict has been preparing for his role as a Crown Prince. He just has a little PR problem. And he and his trusted confidant, Daniel, think Frankie is the answer to their prayers. And the hilarity continues. Secrets are revealed on both sides. And just when you think it is over the author throws in a surprise twist to save the day.
This is a sweet love story that I will want to read again.” “I absolutely loved this book!” explains Vic in their 5-star review. “It is so funny in spots that I laughed until I cried. It is the story of Benedict, Duke of New Arcadia who needs an image makeover, Frankie, who agrees to be his commoner fake fiancée with certain terms, and Daniel, his hilarious PR person. Along with the humor, their story also has sassy banter, drama, moments of emotion, and steamy romance. I highly recommend this well written and fun read.”
Kiss of Smoke by Amy Pennza
With nearly 300 ratings on Amazon, this paranormal MMF romance is ranked in Amazon’s Top 10 Bisexual Erotica novels and one readers of this genre are sure to enjoy.
“WOW, this is a really hot PNR about dragon shifters Lachlan MacKay and Alec Murray and their executive assistant Chloe Drexel,” writes Fran in her 5-star review. “This is erotica at its finest with likeable characters and a great storyline with a M/M/F relationship that is beautiful and works perfectly. Loved this and will definitely be reading more from this author.”
“I was pulled into Kiss of Smoke right away, and I didn’t want to put it down,” raves Jedi Family in their 5-star review. “I wanted to know what happened. I will say this one has some very steamy mm scenes that made me blush. Like Chloe, I couldn’t look away as the scene unfolded. There was such passion and feeling behind it that it felt like more than another steamy scene. And then they turn their attention to Chloe, and wow! I enjoyed the differences in the male characters- how Alec is more outgoing and Lachlan is more aloof. Their characters develop as Chloe spends her time with them. And let’s not forget about the Highlander accent. Meltworthy on it’s own. These men are two of a kind. This was my first book by the author and I will definitely be reading more.”
Hidden Angel by Tamar Sloan and V.P. Allasander
An edgy, epic new adult romance for fans of the Fallen Saga and the Hush, Hush series, this series starter was well loved by Hidden Gems ARC readers.
Debbie writes in her 5-star review, “This is an epic new adult romance that’s exciting and very entertaining all set in an incredible world. A world where angels and demons have started their war. Intriguing characters, action, adventure, it’s off to a great start and I can’t wait to read the next book!”
“This book draws you in,” explains K. Mataisz in their 5-star review. “Not exactly what I expected. Yes, it is basically an Angel vs Demon, but what happens when Angels go rogue ? That is a twist on this book, who knew there were angels that go south, yes, we all know about Lucifer, but this is just next level… Add to that a young woman who all of a sudden finds out she is the daughter of an angel?”
Delicious Heat by Sadira Stone
With a belligerent ex-husband and two overprotective families set on breaking them up, Anna and Diego will need more than red-hot passion to pull them through. This spicy tale of forbidden love is one of those love stories that will warm your heart…and other parts…and make you hungry for empanadas!
“On a scale of 1-5, Delicious Heat deserves a 7,” writes Kat of Wild Women Reviews. “From the start, picking up a Bangers Tavern romance by Sadira Stone has become a special treat. With each book we learn something new, about Tacoma, the shops along 6th Avenue, and the…eclectic regulars at this neighborhood tavern. This time it’s ethnic cooking, Hispanic and Lebanese. The flavors jump off the page to soothe and incite the appetite. Then there’s the steam which rises between Gogo and Anna from the moment they meet. This is a book about life, families—the good and the bad—and love which often comes when you least expect it.”
Karen raves in her 5-star review, “This book captured me right from the start. Anna kicks her cheating husband out and the same night realizes she might be pregnant. Diego works as the chef at the same bar where Anna’s sister works. Thanks to some questionable practices of another local restaurant, Anna and Diego meet at Bangers. The moment he sets eyes on Anna, he’s lost to her. Even the news that she’s pregnant with her soon to be ex-husband’s baby doesn’t change his feelings. Despite the misgivings of their families, they decide to explore their feelings and face the challenges life threw at them together. I haven’t read the other 2 books in the series, but I will be as soon as I can. I loved the story and the characters and would recommend this for anyone who enjoys romantic comedies.”
